A growing engineering organization in Baltimore County, MD seeks a qualified Director of Accounting

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle accounting: AR/AP, close process, and monthly financial reporting
• Payroll, HR coordination, and sales tax filings
• Cash flow forecasting and financial analysis
• Customer onboarding documentation and supplier compliance
• General ledger reconciliations and process improvements

Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting (CPA preferred)
• 3+ years in progressive finance roles
• Payroll and sales tax know-how
• Experience in government contracting or DCMA environments a strong bonus
• Analytical mindset, high attention to detail, and a team-first approach
